Singer Casey James is a new dad

Country star Casey James has become a new dad.

The former American Idol finalist, who placed third on the reality show back in 2010, took to Facebook on Monday (15Feb16) to introduce fans to his new love, a baby girl.

"The newest lady in my life," the married singer wrote beside a black-and-white snap of father and daughter napping. "So thankful. So. Thankful."

Casey, who is known for keeping his personal life private, has yet to share the child's name or details about when or where she was born.
