Simon Cowell wanted to name racehorse after himself

Music mogul Simon Cowell invested in a racehorse last month (Jan13) and wanted to named the animal after himself.
The TV talent show judge teamed up with British presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to buy the animal, and he had very firm ideas about what to call the horse.
Donnelly tells U.K. chat show host Jonathan Ross, "We had to name
the horse because obviously it wasn't named for racing, so we had a
chat with Simon. His first suggestion was 'I think we should call
him Simon'."
The trio eventually decided to call the horse 'It's A Yes From Me'
- a reference to a phrase often used by panellists on Cowell's
talent shows when choosing which contestants to put through to the
next round.
