Simon Cowell making Betty Boop movie

Music and TV mogul Simon Cowell has teamed up with the brains behind The Lego Movie to turn animated character Betty Boop into a big screen phenomenon.
Cowell and his partners at Syco Entertainment and Animal Logic Entertainment's executives are working together on a comedy featuring the 1920s-style flapper, who first appeared onscreen in the 1930s.
Cowell says, "Betty is an icon and one of the biggest stars in the
world. I'm thrilled to be working with her. Betty, I've worked with
some serious divas but I think you could be the biggest of them
all!"
