Sia launching phone game inspired by bob hairstyle
Singer/songwriter Sia is using her trademark blonde bob wig for a good cause by launching a new smartphone game for charity.
The Chandelier hitmaker has taken to hiding her face during promotional appearances for her latest album 1000 Forms of Fear, and she often wears an oversized toupee as a mask.
On Tuesday (05May15), Sia announced her new project, called Bob
Job!, a free-to-play mobile game, with proceeds going towards
charity Best Friends Animal Society, which helps animals in
distress.
In the game, players must make sets of three bobs, dogs or unicorns
in a row before time runs out.
The Australian star helped develop the app with engineers at games
studio Mass Threat, and the soundtrack includes hits from her
latest album.
Sia follows in the footsteps of other celebrities who have found
success with cell phone games, including Kim Kardashian, whose Kim
Kardashian: Hollywood game has earned the reality TV star an
estimated $20 million from sales.
