Shia Labeouf has invited fans to run with him around a museum in Holland as part of a one-off performance art piece on Thursday (25Sep14).

The Transformers star has been posting maps of his jogging routes on Twitter.com throughout September (14) and the daily updates eventually spelt out the word '#METAMARATHON'.

On Monday (21Sep14), he posted an image of himself running and added, "#METAMARATHON at the @Stedelijk Amsterdam 09.25.14."

LaBeouf will run around the perimeter of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam in the Netherlands and visitors are invited to join him. The performance will begin at 2 pm local time, but it is unclear how long he will run for.

The actor is teaming up with artists Nastja Sade Ronkko and Luke Turner, who previously worked on his #IAmSorry installation in Los Angeles earlier this year (14). Visitors could sit opposite LaBeouf at a table while he wore a paper bag emblazoned with the words 'I am not famous anymore' over his head. He first wore the strange headgear on the red carpet at Berlin International Film Festival in Germany in February (14).
