Sharon Osbourne planning to spoil first grandchild

Sharon Osbourne is determined to "spoil" and "indulge" her first grandchild, but the kid won't be allowed to call her "grandma".

The rock matriarch's son Jack and his fiancee Lisa Stelly announced this week (12Oct11) they are to become parents, and while Osbourne's husband Ozzy already has four grandchildren from his kids from his previous marriage, this baby will be Sharon's first.

Sharon Osbourne has now warned she will spoil the child rotten, because she doesn't have to worry about the responsibilities of parenthood anymore.

Speaking about the happy news on her chatshow The Talk, Sharon Osbourne says, "Our family is growing, and I love that. It's just a blessing, it's a joy. They're going to have a baby in April. Yes!

"(I'll give them) everything! That's what comes with being a grandmother. You can spoil, you can indulge, and then say, 'Okay, now let your parents be the ones to teach you right from wrong. I'm not. What do you want? Have it!'"

But the glamorous star is not ready to be called grandma yet, revealing she will urge the child to call her by her nicknames.

She adds, "The baby's going to have to call me Shazza or Mrs O. In London, that's Sharon, the abbreviation is Shazza. They call you, 'Shazza.' 'Hello Shazza!'"
