Sharon Osbourne panics over son's health
Sharon Osbourne has been going to extra lengths to look after her son Jack since he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and now panics whenever he shows the slightest sign of illness.
The 26 year old went public with his health battle in June (12) and his mother admits she is still struggling to come to terms with his condition.
Osbourne reveals she has been fussing over her son, much to his
annoyance, and she's always worried whenever he feels sick.
She says, "I've become even more of a control freak. I think I'm
driving him nuts. He's got a headache and I'm all, like, 'Go to the
doctors. I'll drive you myself.' And I'm fussing and asking him
what he's eating and all of that kind of thing. He's as good as
married and he has a baby and he left home about a hundred years
ago and I'm still fussing over him."
Meanwhile, Osbourne also reveals she was pleased to hear from her
former The X Factor co-star Simon Cowell after Jack's news hit
headlines. She adds, "One of the first people to reach out to me
when Jack was diagnosed with MS was Simon. And that meant very much
to me. Because it meant maybe he loves me, just a little bit."
Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain
and central nervous system and can lead to blindness and muscular
weakness.
