Shakira's representative shoots down love split reports

Shakira's publicist has shot down reports suggesting the singer and her longtime boyfriend, Gerard Pique, have split.

In a statement to Hola! magazine, the representative insists the rumors were started by people who "want to harm" the soccer player.

She adds, "Everything is the same."

Meanwhile, Pique, who is the father of Shakira's two kids, took to his Instagram Story app on Monday (09Oct17) and posted video of himself supporting Shakira at her music rehearsal for her El Dorado world tour.

In the footage, the 30-year-old FC Barcelona star puts his finger to his lips as he enters the rehearsal studio, where Shakira is performing.

The recent split reports suggested the couple is no longer living together in Barcelona, Spain.
