Shakira: 'My boyfriend can't work with models'

Singer Shakira has banned her boyfriend Gerard Pique from appearing alongside models in sexy ads.

The Hips Don't Lie singer recently revealed the "territorial" soccer star has asked her to stop making sexy music videos with men, and now she reveals that she has a similar rule for him.

She tells Eonline.com, "I have rules too. It's two sides, you know. He can't do stuff with models either!

"We're one of those asphyxiating couples, smothering each other all the time. It's good when your man's protective of you. He's a defender. He defends the goal. That is his job, so he knows how to do that well."

Ironically, the singer and Pique began dating after he appeared in her music video for Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) in 2010.
