Selena Gomez reveals stripped down shots after 'body shaming' criticism

Pop star Selena Gomez has revealed new stripped down shots for famed photographer Mario Testino's towel series, just days after she slammed critics for criticising her curvier frame.

The Heart Wants What It Wants hitmaker was recently photographed in a bikini on vacation in Mexico, and cruel social media users taunted her with supposed weight gain claims.

Gomez, 22, fired back at the body shamers by posting a picture on Instagram.com of herself in a sexy one-piece bathing suit, adding the caption, "I love being happy with me y'all #theresmoretolove".

And a couple of days later, she returned to Instagram to repost a side shot of herself holding up a towel to cover her private parts.

Gomez is the latest star to take part in Testino's famed series, which features celebrities wearing nothing but a towel, with previous subjects including Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson and Gomez's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
