Selena Gomez already working on next album

Selena Gomez has been left so inspired by the events in her life she is already back in the studio recording a new album.

The pop star released her fifth studio effort, Revival, just four months ago, but she's already got the creative juices flowing and brewing up new music for her next record.

In an interview with iHeartRadio at the Grammy Awards on Monday (15Feb16), Gomez revealed, "I'm already getting back in the studio with everybody that I love and I've been more inspired than ever."

Her quick moves come as a bit of a surprise since the 23 year old hasn't even kicked off her upcoming Revival Tour yet, which starts on 6 May (16).

"Creating the tour right now is even more surreal because I'm bringing it to life," Gomez said. "It's very, very genuine. The whole tour you're going to feel so connected and I love that and I can't wait for people to be a part of it."

Revival has been a hit since its release in October (15), and marked her second number one album with its debut, as well as three top 10 singles.
