Scarlett Johansson's engagement confirmed

Scarlett Johansson's imminent second trip down the aisle has been confirmed after she sparked engagement rumours at the Venice International Film Festival in Italy earlier this week (beg02Sep13).

The Lost In Translation beauty's sparkling diamond ring sent gossips into a spin at the red carpet premiere of her new film Under the Skin on Tuesday (03Sep13).

Her publicist has now announced the speculation she is to marry journalist Romain Dauriac is correct.

The rep says, "I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged. They haven't chosen a date for the wedding."

The union will be Johansson's second marriage - she exchanged vows with Ryan Reynolds in 2008, but it lasted less than three years. Reynolds is now married to actress Blake Lively.
