Scarlett Johansson puts directorial debut on hold - report
Scarlett Johansson has fueled rumors she is expecting her first child after reportedly putting an upcoming movie project on hold.
The Avengers star previously signed up to step behind the camera for the first time to direct an adaptation of Truman Capote's novella Summer Crossing.
Work on the project was due to begin in August (14), but filming
has now been postponed indefinitely, according to Britain's Mail on
Sunday newspaper.
The news follows unconfirmed reports suggesting the actress is
expecting a baby with her fiance, Romain Dauriac.
Johansson has yet to comment on the baby rumors, but she hinted at
her expectant status during a recent interview, when she was asked
if the production schedule for The Avengers sequel had been
affected by events in her personal life.
The actress responded, "Everything for Avengers 2 - we're full
steam ahead. We start shooting in three weeks and I'm stunt
training and we're good to go."
She added, "I think it's something that is hard to talk about,
exactly. You know, trying to skirt around your question exactly -
and... doing a poor job of it. But... like I said, everything is
exactly on schedule."
