Ryan Dorsey gave parents short notice of Naya Rivera wedding

Actor Ryan Dorsey stunned his parents when he announced plans to wed Glee star Naya Rivera just six weeks ahead of the nuptials.

The pair confirmed on Wednesday (23Jul14) that they had married in secret on 19 July (14) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in front of a small gathering of family members.

The wedding came just three months after Rivera ended her engagement to rapper Big Sean, and now Dorsey's father Arnold has revealed the couple was in a rush to tie the knot.

He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "We knew about the wedding six weeks ago, still, it was a bit of a shock! I met Naya a couple of weeks ago, I was working in California and I drove up to her house. She's very tiny, real petite, but real down to earth, not with her nose stuck up in the air."
