Ryan Cabrera coy on Avril Lavigne dating rumours

Ryan Cabrera is staying coy about rumours he is dating Avril Lavigne after the pair was spotted dining in New York earlier this week (ends19Aug16).

The singers were photographed at STK Midtown on Tuesday (16Aug16), when fellow diners caught them reportedly kissing throughout the night, according to TMZ.com. Ryan has since been asked about the romantic outing, but he wants to keep his personal life private.

"I see lots of people," he joked to New York Post's Page Six. "Not in that way... I don't mean like I see lots of people like that. It was a joke. Nowadays I tend to keep all love life stuff just completely separate just because, you know how it is, you try to keep it private as much as you can."

A representative for Ryan also refused to comment on the new romance rumours surrounding the 34-year-old's romantic life, telling the publication, "While we appreciate the interest in Ryan's endeavours, at this time, we have no comment regarding TMZ's latest report about Ryan's personal life."

Last year (15), Ryan and Avril moved in together following his split from Katie Krause and the Sk8er Boi singer's separation from husband Chad Kroeger, who she wed in 2013. At the time, Ryan dismissed rumours they were together, writing on Twitter they were just "roommates."
