Russell Brand capped a week of protests by joining a march in London on Saturday (18Oct14) demanding better pay for nurses.
The British actor/comedian took to the streets of the British capital with thousands of protesters calling for higher wages for public sector workers. Brand wore a vest emblazoned with the Royal College of Nursing's logo and waved a placard bearing the slogan "Higher pay for nurses".
The march came after a busy week of protests for Brand, who joined
marchers at an Occupy Wall Street rally in New York City on Monday
(13Oct14) and also staged a protest outside the Fox News
headquarters in the Big Apple over allegations he had been booted
from a TV appearance.
