Rosanna Davison channels American Beauty for animal rights advert
Rosanna Davison has channelled Oscar-winning movie American Beauty by posing naked on a bed of red chillis.
The former Miss World, daughter of singer Chris De Burgh, has recreated actress Mena Suvari's famous poster for the classic film in which she is shown sprawled on red roses with only the flowers' petals preserving her modesty.
Davison, who was crowned Miss World at the age of 19, recently
adopted a vegan diet and she is promoting the lifestyle by posing
in an advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
(PETA) in which she lies naked on thousands of chillis, with the
fiery peppers also helping to cover her up.
The striking image sits alongside the slogan 'Being Vegan Is Red
Hot', and Davison says, "I've never felt as fit and healthy as I do
as a vegan. Vegan meals aren't just delicious - they're free of
animal fat and cholesterol, and they're packed with vitamins. Going
vegan is the best way to keep your heart healthy and your body
looking great!"
