Robin Thicke distances himself from butt-grabbing scandal

R&B star Robin Thicke has distanced himself from his butt-grabbing photo scandal by tweeting a snapshot of his happy family.

The singer, who is married to actress Paula Patton, was at the center of controversy after a picture of him apparently touching a blonde fan's backside emerged on Twitter.com.

The image is believed to have been taken after the MTV Video Music Awards on 25 August (13) and was even tweeted to Patton.

The couple has yet to comment on the drama, but the Blurred Lines hitmaker tried to put the scandal behind him on Friday (31Aug13) by sharing a photo from his holiday in Miami, Florida.

The picture, captioned "Family vaca (vacation)!", shows a beaming Patton in a tiny bikini with her arm around Thicke, who is hugging their son Julian Fuego.

The pair took its three year old to Miami after critics slammed family man Thicke for his raunchy performance onstage with Miley Cyrus at the MTV VMAs in New York City.
