Robert Pattinson refuses to cancel Cosmopolis commitments

Robert Pattinson's representative has shot down rumours the star has cancelled a round of press interviews for his movie Cosmopolis in the wake of his girlfriend Kristen Stewart's cheating confession.

The brunette beauty stunned fans last week (ends27Jul12) by apologising for a fling with director Rupert Sanders in a surprisingly candid statement.

Pattinson has yet to comment on the state of his relationship with Stewart, but removal vans were spotted outside the couple's Los Angeles home earlier this week (begs31Jul12), fuelling rumours the romance is over.

Tabloid reports suggested the star had ordered his team to scrap all scheduled press days for new movie Cosmopolis ahead of its release later this month (Aug12) to avoid being quizzed over Stewart's statement.

However, a spokesperson for the star insists Pattinson will go ahead with all confirmed promotional activities as planned, telling Gossip Cop, "Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting.

"No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate."
