Rihanna planning dream cosmetics collection

R&B star Rihanna is planning to build up her fashion credentials by adding a cosmetics line to her empire.

The Umbrella hitmaker is already considered a style icon for her eclectic wardrobe choices and hairstyles, and now she is well on her way to conquering the beauty world with the release of a new perfume, RiRi by Rihanna.

And now she has set her sights on a make-up range.

The star tells Refinery29, "That is definitely something I am going to have my hands on and would love to do.

"It's something that I've always wanted to do, but I've always had so much on my hands. But, this time, I'm going to make sure it happens. I'm going to find some time between albums and fragrance (sic) to do that. I promise."

However, the singer, who previously fronted MAC's Viva Glam campaign, wants to break the mould when it comes to the quality of her products by finding solutions for age-old make-up issues.

Describing her ideal item, she says, "Lipstick that doesn't move, but doesn't dry your lips out, that you don't need a liner for. I mean, it sounds so unreal."
