The Red Hot Chili Peppers have rescheduled their next tour to allow frontman Anthony Kiedis time to recover from foot surgery.
The band was due to begin the trek with sold out shows in Florida at the end of the month (Jan12) but Kiedis and his pals have pushed back the shows.
The frontman was spotted hobbling around Los Angeles earlier this
week (begs09Jan12), but he's expected to make a full recovery by
the time the Scar Tissue hitmakers hit the road again at the end of
March (12).
A statement from the group reads, "Anthony recently underwent
surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached
flexor tendon in his foot."
The Red Hot Chili Peppers' first show is now scheduled for Orlando,
Florida on 31 March (12).
