Raven-Symone 'pushed aside' for Kendall Jenner interview

Actress-turned-TV personality Raven-Symone has blasted a TV producer who allegedly pushed her out of the way at the New York City Zoolander 2 premiere so she could score an interview with Kendall Jenner.

The former The Cosby Show star was among the guests attending Tuesday's (09Feb16) premiere at Manhattan's Lincoln Center, but the 30-year-old's night got off to a bad start after she was disrespected and reportedly manhandled on the red carpet.

Prefacing the tale on her talk show The View on Wednesday (10Feb16), she said, "I'm not very egotistical unless I need to be."

She then recalled, "Last night, I went to the Zoolander 2 premiere... I'm on the red carpet and I understand there's (the) rise and fall of people's celebrity; I get it and I definitely respect those who get it.

"However, I'm doing an interview with someone and the producer of this show... goes like this, (pushes Raven away), 'Move, move, get Kendall! Get Kendall! Get out of the way!' Excuse me!"

Raven admits she was stunned by the rude gesture and confronted the producer, who has not been identified, about her behaviour.

"I looked at her and said, 'I'm sorry... I guess she's more important than everyone else...,'" she explained. "That's fine, but you don't have to hit me to get somebody else's interview. You can ask me kindly, 'Excuse me, Kendall Jenner is coming, I need to interview her', and I'll wait. I'll wait! But don't slap me upside the chest! I got hit twice because this girl came behind me."
