Rapper Mase in legal battle with model

Rapper Mase has been slapped with a lawsuit after allegedly using a model's photograph to promote his new song Why Can't We without permission.

Stephanie Rao, real name Stephanie Delgado, claims the Mo Money Mo Problems hitmaker lifted the picture from her Instagram.com page and used it for the cover of the single.

She is now seeking royalties close to $60,000 (GBP37,500) and $180,000 (GBP112,500) in damages from the hip-hop star, real name Mason Betha, according to TMZ.com.
