R&B group OMG Girlz split
R&B group Omg Girlz has called it quits.
The group, featuring rapper T.I.'s stepdaughter Zonnique Pullins, took to Twitter.com on Thursday (12Mar15) to announce the news.
A message posed on the site reads, "Hey Team OMG, we want to thank
you all for the love, support, and loyalty. At this time, we've
decided to not move forward as a group but to move forward
individually with our own projects.
"We hope you will continue to support us individually as much as
you did when we were a group. We love you all so much! This is not
the end but a new beginning."
The Atlanta-based group of girls ages 11 to 13 formed in 2009 with
T.I.'s wife, former Xscape member Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle, serving as
their manager. The original line-up also featured Lil Wayne's
daughter Reginae Carter, but she left the group in 2010.
The OMG Girlz had two tracks hit the Billboard charts, including
Gucci This (Gucci That) and Where The Boys At?
