Psy hits out at Cannes imposter

Psy has publicly shamed a lookalike who has allegedly been impersonating the South Korean pop sensation at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

The Gangnam Style hitmaker was said to have been spotted at a series of glitzy parties in Cannes this week (beg20May13), posing with fellow celebrities and walking red carpets, but Psy has now confirmed he is currently thousands of miles away in Singapore.

The pop star reveals his manager, Scooter Braun, spotted the fake Psy and insists festival organisers have been duped by a lookalike.

He writes in a post on Twitter.com, "Seems like there's another ME at Cannes... say Hi to him Scooter Braun LOL (laugh out loud). Psy in Singapore (sic)."

Psy goes on to upload a photograph of the imposter, adding, "Here the picture (sic) of fake Psy in Cannes spotted by Scooter Braun!!... Real Psy in Singapore (sic)."
