Professor Green in car accident
Professor Green scrapped a performance in England on Friday night (24May13) after he was injured in a traffic accident.
The musician, real name Stephen Manderson, was crossing the street on his way to Hartpury College in Gloucestershire when he was struck by two cars.
The 29 year old received medical attention while he was lying on
the roadside and was then transported by ambulance to a nearby
hospital.
The star gave fans an update on his condition on his Twitter.com
page, where he also uploaded a photo of himself breathing with the
help of an oxygen mask, and another posing with three female
paramedics.
In a series of posts, he wrote, "Not ideal. Someone run me over.
Sorry hartpury. Off to the hospital we go. I'm making jokes but I'm
in all sorts of discomfort... Probable broken leg… Crushed between
a @mercedesbenzuk ML63 and an SLS AMG classy. As much as I love
AMG's this would have been a lot less Sever (severe) if that engine
wasn't so powerful (sic)".
A post on the school's Facebook.com page has confirmed the
cancellation. It reads: "Sorry to confirm Professor Green can't be
at Summer Ball tonight after car accident."
