Prince Harry urges teens to drop selfies
British royal Prince Harry has urged teenagers to stop pestering him to pose for 'selfies', telling them to take "normal" photographs instead.
The fourth-in-line to the throne is Down Under for a month-long placement with the Australian Defence Force, and he mingled with crowds during a visit to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra on Monday (06Apr15).
In a light-hearted exchange with a group of young fans, the prince
recoiled when he was asked to pose for a self-taken photograph and
begged the youngsters to turn their back on the trend.
He said, "I hate selfies. Seriously! I know you're young, but
selfies are bad. Just take a normal photograph."
The royal also thrilled another fan who was clutching a board
daubed with the message "Redheads rule!" - the famously
flame-haired prince dashed over and high-fived the youngster.
