Pregnant Poppy Montgomery has baby shower

Poppy Montgomery recently celebrated the impending birth of her second child at a baby shower in California.

The former Without a Trace star, who is due to give birth to a daughter this spring (13), was joined by pals at the Shutters on the Beach hotel in Santa Monica on 16 March (13) to mark the occasion, while her boyfriend Shawn Sanford also stopped by the ladies' event to join the festivities.

She tells People.com, "It was so wonderful to celebrate the impending arrival of our baby girl with such an extraordinary group of women. It was a beachy, fun, fabulous day that I will always cherish!"

The child will be the Australian beauty's first with Shawn Sanford; she is also mum to five-year-old Jackson, her son from her former relationship with actor Adam Kaufman.
