Pitbull splits from longtime manager
Rapper Pitbull has parted ways with his manager of eight years.
The I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) hitmaker, real name Armando Perez, recruited Charles Chavez of Latium Entertainment to oversee his career in 2007, but the pair has since amicably ended its business relationship, according to Billboard.com.
Pitbull, who is currently on tour in China, enjoyed huge success
during his time with Chavez, collaborating with the likes of Ne-Yo
and Afrojack, Kesha, and Jennifer Lopez, and landing the job of
host of the American Music Awards in 2013 and again in 2014.
He also joined forces with Enrique Iglesias for a co-headlining
tour last year (14), which was extended into 2015, and secured a
star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which will be unveiled later
this year (15).
Pitbull has yet to reveal his new management plans.
