Pink urges Taylor Swift and Katy Perry to end feud
Pink has urged feuding female popstars Taylor Swift and Katy Perry to emulate her and Christina Aguilera and bury the hatchet.
The Just Like a Pill singer, 38, was at the center of one pop's longest running rivalries after she and Christina fell out over the Beautiful singer's move to work with Pink's mentor, the songwriter Linda Perry.
Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, revealed she'd buried the hatchet with Christina earlier this year (17) and has now called on Taylor and Katy to do the same.
"It's just silly," she told British newspaper The Sun. "You know what, let the politicians be the nasty ones right now. We don't need to add to that. People need to be kind.
"I almost got involved in that whole thing. I don't care, I don't care about any of it and I didn't want to be involved in it. And I like both of them and I think everybody should just hug. If Christina and I can make up, anybody can."
The feuding duo reportedly fell out after three backing dancers agreed to leave Taylor's tour early to join the Roar singer's trek.
Katy attempted to bury the hatchet earlier this year, as she told journalist Arianna Huffington she was "sorry" for the dispute on her Thrive Global podcast, but Taylor is yet to publicly respond to her rival's apology.
The Bad Blood singer also appeared to mock her rival in the video for her latest single Look What You Made Me Do, as she was shown destroying the same model of Lamborghini car Katy used in a previous video.
Urging the pair to kiss and make up, Pink said, "Look, human beings don't all get along but I think there's also a trend of pitting women against each other and we're kind of set up to fail with each other and I know that deep down we all really want the other person to win. And I think what's cool about life is everybody can win at the same time."
