Perrie Edwards: 'Zayn Malik wedding will not be this summer'
Perrie Edwards has dismissed rumours she is set to marry Zayn Malik in a secret ceremony this summer (15), insisting the couple has not had enough time to plan the big day.
The British pop stars have been engaged since 2013, and rumours of an imminent wedding have swirled since Malik quit boyband One Direction in March (15).
However, Edwards has declared that even though her fiance now has
more time on his hands, they have not been able to plan the
ceremony in time for this summer (15).
She tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "I don't know when the
wedding will be. We're still planning it but I'm so busy... Me and
Zayn want it to be perfect, so as soon as I have a bit of time
we'll plan it. I doubt it will be this summer, but I'll let you
know."
Perrie also admits she is enjoying having Malik at home now he is
no long part of One Direction, adding, "It's nice to see more of
him now."
Malik walked out of the band's world tour and later quit the group
to focus on being a "normal" 22 year old.
