Perez Hilton becomes a dad again

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton made Mother's Day on Sunday (10May15) extra special for his mum by gifting her a second grandchild.

The gay gossip king, real name Mario Lavandeira, Jr., welcomed his first child, a son also named Mario, via a surrogate mother in 2013 and he surprised fans on Monday (11May15) by going public with news of the latest addition to his family, a daughter named Mia Alma.

He shared a cute photo of the baby's foot resting against his left hand and, in the accompanying blog post on PerezHilton.com, he wrote, "It is with great pride and relief that I can finally announce: I am a dad again!"

He added, "The road to this birth has been a difficult journey, quite different from the first time, and my son and I are overjoyed at this happy and healthy addition to our family. Every child is a blessing and this Mother's Day was extra blessed for me and my mother!"

The baby girl was born via a surrogate on Saturday (09May15), reports the Associated Press.
