Paul Walker's final film screened privately for family
Actor Paul Walker's family members were treated to a private screening of the tragic star's final film on Thursday (12Dec13).
A representative for Hours has confirmed to Us Weekly that the late Fast & Furious star's relatives watched the thriller together at a theater in La Canada Flintridge, California.
The source says, "His family was very stoic, but they enjoyed the
film and had a really lovely evening."
Walker's 15-year-old daughter Meadow did not attend the screening,
but the rep claims she and Walker's father, Paul Walker III, had
already seen the film at this year's South by Southwest Film
Festival in Texas.
Just two weeks before his car crash death on 30 November (13), the
actor recalled viewing the film that was to be his last with his
daughter at the festival, stating, "It was cool to watch the
reaction because I'm proud of the work that I did because I told
the truth the whole time."
In the film, which opens on Friday (13Dec13), Walker plays a father
struggling to keep his infant daughter alive in the wake of
Hurricane Katrina.
Reports suggest the actor's remains will be cremated at a private
family funeral this weekend (14Dec13).
