Patrick Stump struggling to fund solo success

Patrick Stump is struggling to fund his current solo tour, revealing he may have to ask his record company for a little financial help.

The Former Fall Out Boy star has been sleeping on friends' and fans' floors, so his band can stay in hotels on the road - but even that isn't keeping the costs down enough.

Patrick Stump says, "I haven't made a dollar on these shows. I've lost a lot of money. Ultimately, it's like opening a small business. It's a good show, and hopefully, in the long run, it will even itself out."

But until that happens he may have to call on a little record label assistance.

He tells Spin magazine, "I wouldn't be asking for too much. It might help get over that hump.

"(In the meantime), I can sleep on the floor (at friends' homes). I'm comfortable doing that."
