Patrick Schwarzenegger to star alongside dad's True Lies wife Jamie Lee Curtis

Arnold Schwarzenegger's actor son Patrick has landed a role opposite the action man's True Lies movie wife Jamie Lee Curtis after joining the cast of Ryan Murphy's new horror series Scream Queens.

Miley Cyrus' ex-boyfriend has followed his famous father into Hollywood, with small parts in 2012 romantic comedy Stuck in Love and Adam Sandler's Grown Ups 2, but now he has landed a primetime gig on the upcoming TV show, 21 years after Curtis tangoed with Arnold in the 1994 action comedy.

Revealing the new cast addition on Twitter.com on Friday (11Sep15), Murphy writes, "Happy to announce that PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER has joined the cast of SCREAM QUEENS".

Actresses Lea Michele, Emma Roberts and Ariana Grande also co-star in the TV drama, which will premiere on 22 September (15).
