Paris Jackson thanks fans for their love and support
Paris Jackson has released a message to fans via her biological mum Debbie Rowe, thanking them for their love and support following her apparent suicide attempt.
Michael Jackson's daughter was stretchered out of her Calabasas, California home in the early hours of the 5 June (13) after paramedics responded to an emergency call regarding a "possible overdose".
The 15 year old, who also allegedly had cuts to her wrists, was
later transferred to UCLA Medical Center, where her father was
pronounced dead in 2009, and she has been recovering in hospital
for the last few weeks.
Now her mum Rowe has taken to Twitter.com to issue a statement on
her daughter's behalf, which reads, "My daughter has asked that I
extend a huge thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and
support", adding, "She is strong like her father."
Paris was forced to skip the Las Vegas premiere of Cirque du
Soleil's new King of Pop tribute show, Michael Jackson ONE, on
Saturday (29Jun13) as she continued her treatment, but her uncle,
Jackie Jackson, revealed the teen should be discharged in no
time.
He told Eonline.com, "She's doing wonderful right now. She's
getting better. She should be out (of the hospital) soon."
Paris' grandmother, Katherine Jackson, and her brothers, Prince
Michael and Blanket, attended the event in her absence.
