Paris Hilton to launch real estate venture

Paris Hilton is following in her family's real estate footsteps - she's heading to the Philippines to launch a new property venture.

The reality TV star and entrepreneur, whose great-granddad Conrad Hilton founded the Hilton Hotel chain, is going into business with Century Properties bosses and will unveil the joint commercial project on Saturday (13Aug11).

And Paris Hilton is making the most of her long-haul journey - she will also announce a new line of eyewear for Asia, according to the New York Post's Page Six column.

Her representative tells the publication, "This has been a busy summer for Paris."

The 30 year old's father, Rick Hilton, is also a successful real estate tycoon in Beverly Hills, California.
