Paris Hilton agrees deal to end lingerie lawsuit
Paris Hilton has worked out a deal to settle a lawsuit with a lingerie company by reportedly agreeing to front a new line with the firm.
The hotel heiress became embroiled in a legal dispute with Italian underwear company Le Bonitas after she signed a deal in 2010 to launch her own range, but the agreement fell through.
Hilton filed a lawsuit claiming company bosses failed to promote
the collection in Europe, while Le Bonitas chiefs sued the star for
allegedly ignoring designs sent to her for approval.
The case went to court in New York City last month (May12) and a
judge ordered the two sides to settle the dispute in mediation, and
TMZ.com reports they have now reached an out of court agreement to
end the legal battle.
Hilton attended a settlement conference on Monday (04Jun12) and
reportedly agreed to front a new line for the company.
