One Republic axe another show as Ryan Tedder battles vocal issues

One Republic axed their Sunday night (28Apr13) concert in Belfast, Northern Ireland, after frontman Ryan Tedder was ordered to rest his voice.

The Apologize hitmakers cancelled a show in Glasgow, Scotland, on Friday night (26Apr13) after Tedder fell sick, but they remained optimistic he would recover.

The stars tweeted, "Ryan woke up missing the 1 thing needed 4 2nite (for tonight) - his voice. We have been going HARD for almost 3 months straight now & it caught up to us. He will regain his voice in full quickly... we are positive."

However, Tedder was still ill over the weekend (27-28Apr13) and the band decided to pull out of its Belfast date.

A statement from the group reads, "We regret to say that Ryan is still on vocal rest and will not be ready in time for the Belfast show. The show is postponed but we look forward to seeing our Northern Irish fans soon. We WILL be back!"
