One Direction shiver through cold video shoot

Written by . Published: March 25 2014

Pop stars One Direction braved near-freezing temperatures in Somerset, England on Monday (24Mar14) as they filmed their new music video at the seaside.

The Best Song Ever hitmakers headed to Clevedon Pier for the shoot, but the boys struggled to stay warm as they worked at the historic venue, and singer Harry Styles had to be bundled up in blankets and a heavy coat as he shivered in the cold and overcast weather, which dipped to as low as two degrees Celsius (35.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

His bandmates also took to playing a little soccer to keep their temperatures up in between shoots, and Niall Horan made sure to thank everyone for their hard work after filming wrapped.

Taking to Twitter.com later on Monday, he wrote, "Thank you everyone on the crew for today's video shoot! It was very cold. very much appreciate your time and effort!"

It is not yet known what project the One Direction boys were working on.
