One Direction's new music video stars a chimp

Pop stars One Direction indulged in some monkey business in their new promo by hiring a chimpanzee to star in the clip.
The band filmed a video for new single Steal My Girl in the Californian desert, and they recruited an unlikely star in the shape of Eli the chimp.
A series of images from the promo have been published ahead of its
release on Friday (24Oct14), showing band member Louis Tomlinson
sitting with the primate, who sports red sunglasses.
Other photographs show Tomlinson and his bandmate Zayn Malik
tickling playful Eli's belly as he happily rolls on the ground.
A post on the official One Direction Twitter.com page, alongside
the images, reads, "So there's a chimp in the StealMyGirlVideo -
and his name is Eli."
