One Direction criticised by William H. Macy
One Direction star Harry Styles has come under fire from actor William H. Macy, who has accused the singer of eating his dinner on stage when he took his young daughter to see the pop group in concert.
The Fargo star accompanied his 13-year-old daughter Sophia to one of the band's recent shows, and admits he was unimpressed with the performance.
During an interview on TV show LIVE With Kelly and Michael, he
says, "I've been in showbiz all my life, so, let me just say, those
guys can sing. They are very talented... (But) they couldn't put on
a good show with a gun to their head."
He also criticised the stars' casual stage attire, claiming that
during wardrobe changes they simply switched from "c**ppy jeans and
stupid T-shirt (to) another pair of jeans and stupid T-shirt."
However, he was outraged when he allegedly spotted Styles eating a
meal on stage while his bandmates were singing, adding, "(He was
eating) a sandwich while two of his guys were singing. I mean call
me old-fashioned, but when I'm downstage singing my heart out, you
better not eat a sandwich behind me."
Macy admits that even though he didn't like the show, his daughter
had a wonderful time: "(She) loved it and so did about 17,000 other
kids."
