Omarion welcomes baby boy

R&B singer Omarion has become a father for the first time.

The Ice Box star's longtime girlfriend Apryl Jones has given birth to baby boy, called Megaa, and the proud parents introduced fans to their newborn via Instagram.com on Thursday (07Aug14).

The new dad, real name Omari Ishmael Grandberry, shared a snap of himself holding the tot and in the accompanying caption, he wrote, "World. Allow me to introduce. MEGAA OMARI GRANDBERRY. He is 7 pounds. 4oz & 20 inches long. My son I've been waiting on you (sic). God is the realist (sic)!! I witnessed a miracle".

He also uploaded a cute picture of the baby sleeping on his chest and lavished praise on Jones for choosing a natural, home birth.

He added, "My soul mate @aprylsjones is so strong! Not only did she have a un medicated (sic) birth (no drugs) she did it at home. Naturally. Just like my mom had me. I love you. thank you for having my legacy. I'll forever belong to you & you will forever be tied to me."
