Olivia Wilde made first move on Jason Sudeikis

Olivia Wilde was forced to make the first move on comedian Jason Sudeikis after he failed to ask for her number during numerous run-ins.

The TRON: Legacy beauty first met the funnyman in 2011 on the set of sketch show Saturday Night Live, but they didn't start dating until several months later - and Wilde admits they would not be engaged now if she hadn't adopted a stronger approach to land her man.

She tells Allure magazine, "I met Jason, and I thought he was so charming. He's a great dancer and I'm a sucker for great dancers. But he didn't even get my number.

"Over the next six months we kept running into each other. (One night), my best guy friend walked up to him and said, 'This is Olivia's number. Use it.' That was the beginning."

The couple announced its engagement earlier this year (13).
