Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis enjoy breakfast date after baby
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis enjoyed a little breakfast date on Monday (17Oct16), less than a week after welcoming their second child.
The engaged actors became parents again when daughter Daisy was born on Tuesday (11Oct16), the International Day of the Girl Child - an informal holiday launched by officials at the United Nations Women philanthropic organization.
Wilde took to Instagram on Saturday (15Oct16) to announce the
exciting baby news, posting an adorable picture of the newborn
sprawled out in the middle of a giant lamb-shaped pillow.
"There goes the neighborhood," she captioned the sweet snap. "Daisy
Josephine Sudeikis. Born, like a boss, on
#internationaldayofthegirl."
On Monday, the stars were spotted stepping out for the first time
since their daughter's arrival.
Wearing sunglasses, Olivia looked relaxed dressed in a white top,
grey cardigan and jeans, while comedian Jason also went for a
casual look in a blue shirt, khaki pants, and denim jacket as they
grabbed breakfast in their Brooklyn neighborhood.
Baby Daisy is a little sister to the couple's two-year-old son
Otis.
The TRON: Legacy actress revealed she was expecting a girl in a
politically charged tweet last month (Sep16), when she referenced
the current presidential race.
As Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton takes on Republican nominee
Donald Trump at the polls to become the nation's next leader,
Olivia made it clear she supports the former First Lady: "As
someone who is about to have a daughter, this hits me deep in my
core. #NeverTrump," Olivia tweeted in a message that contained a
link to a campaign video Clinton had shared online.
In the footage, young girls provide sound bites in response to some
of the insulting statements Trump has made about women. The video
concludes with the question: "Is this the president we want for our
daughters?"
