Nicole Scherzinger turned down nude movie role

Singer Nicole Scherzinger turned down the chance to be in a movie because she had to get naked.

The former Pussycat Dolls star made a name for herself in music and as a reality TV show judge but she has also had a number of cameo appearance in films such as Love Don't Cost a Thing and Men in Black 3.

Nicole, 38, has now revealed she could have had a more substantial part in a movie but she turned down the opportunity because she didn't want to strip off.

“Actually I was going to do a movie and they asked me to get nude and I was like no," she told U.K. host Jonathan Ross. "I mean unless it’s like for Martin Scorsese or something but no, you don’t need to.”

She made the confession after fellow interviewee Stephen Merchant said he had a nude scene during his theater show cut because he didn't want to do it.

Nicole, who is currently dating tennis star Grigor Dimitrov, also opened up about her past on-off relationship with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, admitting they no longer speak but she wishes him happiness and success in his career.

“I don’t see anything negative, I think it’s quite natural when people separate and go their own ways and you just have to be adult about it and just always wish the other person happiness, success and love like sincerely and I do," she said. “I think that he is the best driver since Ayrton Senna and I think that he’s probably going to win this year."

Lewis, who split for good from Nicole last year (15), proved he was still on good terms with her family by posting a selfie with her three nieces earlier this month (Oct16) and writing in the caption, "My favorite lil ones."
