Nicole Scherzinger quits The X Factor - report
Pop singer Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly given up her place on the judging panel of Britain's The X Factor to focus on relaunching her music career.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer began as a judge on the now-defunct American version of the reality TV show, before transferring to the British panel in 2012 for two seasons.
However, she will not be returning for the upcoming 11th series,
according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
A source tells the publication, "It breaks her heart, but Nicole is
sad not to be able to go back to the show this year. She has
agonised over this decision for months.
"She has put her music career on hold last year but now she has to
focus on her music."
Music mogul Simon Cowell will be returning for this year's series
(13) and he is rumoured to be in talks with former judge Cheryl
Cole to take a place on the panel with him.
Scherzinger reportedly signed a multi-million dollar record deal
last year (12) to return to the charts following her 2011 debut
solo album Killer Love.
