Nicole Scherzinger devastated by Lewis Hamilton split

Pop star Nicole Scherzinger feels "devastated" following her split from Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton but insists they parted ways on good terms.

The former Pussycat Dolls star, who began dating the British sportsman in 2007, left the U.S. and relocated to England in November (14) amid reports she wanted to be closer to her boyfriend, who is based in Europe.

However, Scherzinger has now confirmed reports suggesting the couple has split for good.

She tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "I'm devastated that it didn't work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together. I love Lewis and I know he loves me. We wish each other nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I'm trying to stay strong in my faith right now."
