Nicki Minaj returns to Twitter

Hip-hop icon Nicki Minaj has returned to Twitter.com eight days after deactivating her micro-blogging account following an album leak online.

Minaj recently revealed "a voice in my head" told her to delete the page after blasting a fansite for giving devotees access to unreleased tracks.

Reconsidering her actions, the Super Bass hitmaker told U.K. chat show host Graham Norton, "I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me."

The account was up and running again on Tuesday (24Apr12), although Minaj had not posted anything fresh as WENN went to press.
