Nicki Minaj releases short film with new album

Rapper Nicki Minaj has released a short film to go with songs from her new album, The Pinkprint.
The Superbass hitmaker released her latest record earlier this month (Dec14), and on Friday (19Dec14), she gave fans an extra treat with a 16-minute The Pinkprint Film music video.
The promo is split into three acts, The Crying Game, I Lied and
Grand Piano, each of which are songs from the album, and the
narrative follows the story of a relationship falling apart.
Minaj appears in the film alongside actor Boris Kodjoe.
Reports suggest The Pinkprint album was inspired by Minaj's split
from longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels.
